Our hosts, Alison and Jono, live in a South London neighborhood called Peckham. We took a walk to the local "commons" called Peckham Rye and fed the pigeons and crows. (I'm informed that William Blake saw angels in a tree in Peckham Rye). Peckham is a gentrifying neighborhood. Lots of African and Caribbean immigrants.
